Privacy
Most of the people using our portal are children. This page says plainly what is collected, who processes it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The public pages of this site do not set advertising cookies, do not run analytics, and do not ask you to log in. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.
When you email or call us, we keep what you send for as long as we need it to answer you and, if your child joins the school, as part of their admission record.
The portal is two connected systems (an assessment platform and a lesson system), reached from the portal page. Both are used under the school's direction.
The school decides what is collected and why. The following services process it on our behalf:
These providers process data outside Nigeria. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Objective questions are marked automatically. Written answers receive an AI-assisted first pass which a teacher then reviews. No mark reaches a result sheet without a teacher having seen it, and a result is never decided by software alone.
An access code is a credential belonging to one child. The school issues it, can reset it, and will not release one to a caller we have not confirmed. If you think a code has been seen by someone else, tell us and we will replace it.
Academic records (results and result sheets) are kept as part of the student's school record, as any school keeps them. Lesson-viewing records are operational and are not kept indefinitely. When a student leaves, their sign-in is deactivated; the academic record remains.
You may ask what we hold about your child, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or raise a concern about how it is being used. Contact the school office and we will deal with it directly, at mtcedarbritishinternationalsch@gmail.com or 0805 673 3071.
This page is written to be understood rather than to be exhaustive. If you need something more formal for a specific purpose, ask us and we will provide it.

We would rather answer a question than have you wondering.
