For Other Schools

The software we built, and use every day.

Two systems run the assessment and lesson side of Mt Cedar. They were written here, for the realities of a Nigerian school, and other schools are welcome to use them.

Why We Built Them

Written for the school we actually run.

Most school software assumes a computer per child, a reliable connection, and a parent with an email address. That is not the school day here.

Built for the phone in the room

A mid-range Android on mobile data is the target device, not a laptop. Lessons stay readable once loaded, so a bundle running out does not end the school day.

No accounts to manage

Students sign in with a short username and an access code printed by the school. No email addresses for minors, no password resets, nothing for a parent to set up.

A teacher signs off everything

AI drafts and AI marking are a first pass, never the last word. No score reaches a result sheet and no lesson reaches a student without a teacher having reviewed it.

The Two Systems

Assessment, and lessons.

ResultPeak AI

An assessment platform that takes each school on its own terms: your subjects, your assessment structure (mid-term test, project, examination) and your grading scale.

Objective questions are marked on submission. Written answers are marked with AI assistance and queued for tutor review. Scores flow into your term result sheet, ready to print or download.

Roles run superadmin, school administrator, tutor, student.

JDSmartLearn

A lesson system for primary and secondary. A tutor uploads a lesson; it comes back as a student summary, a set of practice questions, and a marking guide only the tutor can see.

The tutor edits and publishes. Students read it on their phone, offline once it has loaded.

It runs on the same roster as ResultPeak, so one username and code opens both.

Honest Scope

What these do not do.

Deliberately left out, so that what remains is solid. Some of it is planned; some of it is somebody else's product.

Not built, and not planned for now: live classes, video lessons, attendance registers, timetabling, and native mobile apps. Each one is a product in its own right, and doing them badly would weaken the parts that work.

Under consideration for a later version: school fee payments, parent messaging, and video. They are real needs; they are not the first thing to get right.

If one of those is the reason you are looking for software, we would rather tell you now than sell you a plan.

See it working

A walkthrough with a school administrator takes about half an hour, and we will use your subjects and your grading scale rather than a demo dataset.

Built in Benin City

Tested in a real school, every term.

Both systems are used by Mt Cedar's own teachers and students. When something does not work in a classroom, we find out the same week.
